COURSE: Injection Technique and Immunisation Training for HCSWs – Including Vitamin B12

A two-day Immunisation Training Course for Healthcare Support Workers/Healthcare Assistants (HCSWs/HCAs).

COURSE OVERVIEW

This foundation course adheres to the National Minimum Standards for Immunisation Training (2015) and includes flu, pneumococcal, shingles vaccination and intranasal (spray) influenza for children (2-17 years).

The course also includes administering B12 injections.

Participants will be given advice in gaining clinical competence within their own workplace.
